Devices

The device you install is the link between your asset and TracerTrak®.  It reports the location and pre-set parameters of your asset via the chosen network option.  TracerTrak works with a variety of equipment options from "no installation" satellite only devices through to fully integrated dual mode GPRS & satellite devices.

Software

The core of the system is an advanced web-based platform that allows you to view the status of the devices installed on your assets. 

Using industry standard security, users can connect from anywhere on the internet with all information delivered graphically through their browser. 

All configuration of the business logic relating to alerts, rules, nicknames, users and more is through the same interface.  This powerful logic provides you with reports when you need them using both email and SMS. 

No longer do you need to monitor and check the system for asset status; as soon as the conditions are outside of your chosen limits the system will alert you, wherever you are.

Networks

Choose the network that works for the location of your equipment.  The system seamlessly transports messages from the device to the system with no requirement for you to signup with different providers - TracerTrak® is your single source for all equipment, networks, and software through one convenient account.

Coverage

TracerTrak currently operates with devices located in most areas of the world as depicted below on the Globalstar Simplex coverage map.  Global Satellite Coverage will soon be available through the upcoming introduction of devices that communicate via the Iridium satellite constellation.

Cellular coverage will also be available with many options on the type, location, and roaming coverage.

Estimated coverage area. Actual coverage may vary. Success rates are forecasts for a simplex device to successfully deliver a single message during a 20-minute period, based on network availability. Additionally, in everyday conditions it is normal for some messages to be blocked by your environment, such as hills or buildings.
